Our company has recently contracted to purchase the First mortgage on the vacant parcel of land off Bowen Road, owned by the Jard Company.

In researching the title of the parcel, it came to our attention that the property is bisected by the Zoning Ordinance, with the westerly half being industrial and the easterly half being residential.

Having a parcel bisected by the Zoning Districts is less than optimal, both for the Town and for the owner. Therefore, we respectfully request that the Commission consider amending the Town Plan to dedicate the entire parce1 for industrial purposes.

We would be pleased to meet with the Commission, if necessary, to more fully explain the need for the requested change. Thank you in advance for your consideration of our request.
