LETTER

Vermont NATURAL GAS

April 23, 1999

Don Gilman
Vermont Agency of Transportation
133 State Street
Montpelier, VT 05633-5001

Dear Mr. Gilman:

Enclosed is a map for the Southern Vermont Natural Gas (SVNG) Pipeline Project. The map shows all preliminary routes and the Least Environmentally Damaging Practicable Alternative (LEDPA) route as identified by participants at the Preferred Route Selection Meeting held on April 6, 1999, in Waterbury.

Also enclosed is a hard copy of the meeting minutes, which were previously distributed by e-mail on April 20. Starting on page 4, these minutes provide a segment-by-segment summary of comments, constraints, and consensus on the LEDPA route for the SVNG pipeline project.

Please note that the hard copy contains a revision on page 5. Under Segment 2, in the last sentence of the fourth paragraph, Alternative 1 has been corrected to Alternative 2.

Please feel free to call me at 607-762-7357 if you have any comments or questions.

Sincerely,
