The Healing Mountain

This morning. My meadow grass dew blue in the rising sun.
I look across from the field top to see the ominous OMYA
clear cut healing even now as the fall colors turn.

In the midst of this horrible five year conflict the raped meadow marches
on toward erasing its torment. And now with its threat diminished it advances
further towards becoming once again one with its own mountain.

And so our community’s wounds begin to heal and we, too, become one once again.
