VCE's web site has a new look, which we hope will make it easier for people to interact with us, know what we're working on, and be more engaged. The web pages are undergoing updating and we will be continuing to bring the site up to date. The Omya page now contains most of the recent news stories, and that page will be replaced at some point with a different format. All of the other materials from our old front page are now available using the links on the left of the new front page. We have not deleted any information, just organized it and added links to others who are doing terrific work on climate change, the local economy and local food. Check back often to see what else is new. And we now have a blog so you can interact with us and learn the latest about our work with citizens throughout Vermont.

Kenneth Enzor, director of logistics and distribution for OMYA, said, "That's too late."
Enzor said that if OMYA, a marble processing company based in Florence, continued to grow as projected, it would have more business than the railyard could handle in three years."
